I can tell that she has passion for her job.
My Mom is 85 years old. Kyle was patient with her and very kind. She has so much “energy”! My Mom doesn’t speak English and she made an effort to speak Spanish. You can tell she was smiling even though she was wearing a mask. All our questions were answered every day and at checkout. She complimented my Mom’s sneakers and laughed when my Mom took a quick look in the mirror before she left. I can tell that she has passion for her job. We are lucky to have her taking care of our Mom and all patients.

Kyle Buaya; Manager Write-up
Kyle started her career in Nursing at Palisades Medical Center in December of 2019. Shortly after she completed orientation in March of 2020 the world was challenged with a global pandemic. Kyle not only had to prepare herself independently as a new nurse but had come to face unexpected challenges and critically think under extreme conditions. She is often recognized by both her peers and her patients as caring, empathetic, and compassionate. She has also built strong working relationships with other members of the healthcare team and leverages those connections to advocate for her patients. Kyle has recently taken on the role of preceptorship in which she empowers her orientee to adopt a similar work ethic. Her commitment and dedication truly make a difference in the patient experience. We are proud to have her part of the 5th floor team and feel she deserves this award.
