Kyle has been a long time CVICU RN. He has been a lead nurse, a preceptor and is furthering his education as an advanced practice nurse. He has trained so many nurses through his many years in the CVICU. He was chosen as Preceptor of the year a few years ago. He is adored by his patients. He is kind and caring and so comforting to his patients and families. For some reason, our older female population tend to really enjoy his care.
Kyle is a great coworker as well; he has had many recent big life changes but has not changed his concern for his fellow coworkers. He is respected by our medical team; he offers so much every day he is here. I am proud he represents UPH and the CVICU.

Kyle provided exceptional care. He is personable yet confident in his skills which put me at ease as I recovered from open-heart surgery. He went above and beyond to answer my questions and help me better understand what was happening to me and why. He offered ways to sit up, stand, etc. that would not hurt or cause injury to my chest. I watched him assist other nurses and patients- yet he always responded quickly when I needed him. Even though the ICU was busy - he took his time to make sure I was comfortable.
