He was as straightforward and honest with us as he could be regarding my grandmom’s outlook, which we truly appreciated.
Kyle was recently caring for my grandmother, who was in the ICU after have surgery for a perforated bowel and was severely septic. Throughout the few days, I was there visiting my grandmother, Kyle was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, and helpful, and never got sick of me/my family asking a million questions. I am in the medical field so I understood most of what was going on, but my family did not. He spoke to them in a way that was easy to understand and took the time to explain every little thing that was going on. He was as straightforward and honest with us as he could be regarding my grandmom’s outlook, which we truly appreciated. He somehow made us laugh during this extremely hard time, all while remaining completely professional. My family often talked when we returned from the hospital each night about how having a nurse like Kyle made this horrible experience just a little less bad, and he was exactly what we needed. I can’t say enough good things about him. While my grandmom most likely will not make it through, it is comforting to know that she had him taking care of her in her last few days. We were all very lucky to have him.

There is not enough space here to express our deep appreciation for Kyle's demeanor, dedication, knowledge, experience, personality, and humor. He was with us from the completion of surgery to just short of her passing. We looked forward to his being in Mom's room when we arrived every day. He gave us a great feeling of trust in doing all he could to help Mom recover from her very serious condition. There were conversations about Mom, our family, her condition, what he and the rest of Mom's medical team were doing, as well as appropriate levity. It was like he became a part of our family in just a few days.
