She was very attentive to her and was as gentle as possible with her IC since she is very frail and already in a lot of pain.
Kylee was so caring and kind in taking care of my grandma when she fell and fractured her arm and hip.  She went out of her way to provide amazing and excellent care.  I work here as well so I couldn't stay with my grandma, but Kylee sought me out to keep me updated since my grandma is very hard of hearing and didn't fully understand the situation.  She was very attentive to her and was as gentle as possible with her IC since she is very frail and already in a lot of pain.  I would love to have Kylee as my grandma's nurse if she has to visit the ED again.

Wednesday morning I had to bring my 5 year old, G into the ER because for a week he had been having waves of intense stomach cramps where he was crying uncontrollably.  I usually don't panic when it comes to him, but this seems to be a recurring issue so the unknown scares me.  He has a very complex medical history and has a tracheostomy.  We have been in many, many, emergency rooms, with experiences from both sides of the scale.  I just wanted to say that on Wednesday, everyone was amazing.  From the ED staff, Lab, and Radiology.  Everyone was patient with him, repeatedly praised him for his bravery, and spoke directly to him and not just about him, and that really makes a difference.  And whoever the new doc is in the ED, he is really great.  He made me feel like I had a voice in the decisions of his care, especially the decision to go ahead with a CT scan.  I have encountered enough doctors with my son's history to know that, unfortunately, not all doctors are created equal, especially in the ED.  Butt I felt like he took all of my concerns serious, and I never once felt rushed.  There have been very few times that I have led an ED with confidence that everything was addressed, knowing that I felt free to voice my concerns, and Wednesday, I left reassured and pleased with the care that was given.
