When my daughter arrived at Riley we were scared and confused. Going from having a healthy 15-year-old to rooms of doctors and surgeons, Kylee was always there to answer questions and listen as we cried. Kylee went above and beyond to build relationship and friendship with us. A nurse like her is hard to find but we feel super blessed to have been touched by her love and dedication. She made sure to get to know my daughter on an individual level. She would talk to her about her life not just what was happening here in the hospital. Whenever Kylee would get a new "friend" (what she called her patients) and was going to be tied up, she would not be scared to see yet another new face. These are just a very few examples of the many ways she touched our lives during our stay.
