I came to the hospital because I was drowning in fluids in my lungs. I was taken to the Cath Lab and had a stent put in. Kylie was my 7 am-7p nurse. One of the medications that I was on made me sick and I dry heaved for 10 hours straight. Although I was receiving anti-nausea medications I was still sick. Kylie was sweet and extremely caring. She came in very often, it seemed like she was there the whole time, getting me wet washcloths and a fan, rubbing my head and telling me she was sorry but for me to hang in there. It was exhausting to be so sick. Kylie also relieved my mother so she could take a break. It felt like every time I got down and overwhelmed Kylie was there for me. I have a bear named Max that my family gave to me that travels with me whenever I go to a hospital. I had Kylie sign a band-aid and put it on Max's arm so that my family and I would never forget her and she'll always be a part of my family.
