I'm currently inpatient, but I don't want to be and because of the nurse you've assigned me, my stay has been made more than bearable. Way more than bearable. From the moment Lacey walked into my room she has been downright amazing!!
The first day I had a little irritation with my home medication not being on the formulary here. Well, to be honest, it's actually a big deal for me when I can't get this medication as it controls my combined ADD/ADHD. Lacey could tell that it was incredibly important to me and put together a plan to fix the situation. She had to "hustle" and within about an hour had the medication on the floor ready for me to take. She had to get the pharmacy to find an outside source and get it approved first, too. Basically, impossible. Not for Lacey. You've picked a Wonder Woman for your nursing team and you should be incredibly proud of Lacey! I am. And I am so thankful and grateful for her that I had to write and tell you.
The entire team has been lovely as well. I have yet to meet one staff member that hasn't been friendly and accommodating. I am absolutely impressed. You've outdone yourselves!
