Lakesshia is very caring and concerned for her patients. She will listen to what you have to say and do whatever it takes to make sure you are taken care of, to make you feel safe and secure and she has a smile that lights up the room. I had a very rough time during my stay with my blood pressure and unpleasant interactions with a few staff members, but she comforted me and made sure that I was okay before leaving my room. She made sure that I had a fan in my room before the end of her shift so that I could sleep comfortably. She made sure to explain everything going on in detail, and if I didn't understand, she would get someone to help. She told me every pill I was taking and what they were for and informed me of all shots and IV meds being administered. I felt very safe and calm with Lakesshia. 

Lakesshia made sure to check in on me every few minutes and assured me that I would be okay, and she was right. I looked forward to seeing her beautiful smile every morning. I truly believe that Lakesshia was sent to me by God during my stay as my guardian angel. I thank God for giving me such a beautiful, caring, kindhearted, and loving soul as my nurse. She is truly an asset to the hospital and its patients. God broke the mold when he made her, and I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get taken care of by her. She did not miss her calling in this life.
