A patient had an Afib ablation. Afterward, he was highly complementary of the whole unit and was impressed with our teamwork and how well we cared for the patients—he said that even the lady at the desk was up helping.

He specifically named Laura Allen his night nurse. He was having a lot of pain in his chest from coughing so much, trying to cough up phlegm, and having trouble catching his breath. He said she was so compassionate and patient with him. She gave him warm Earl Gray Tea and spent so much time with him. She never got mad or impatient with him. He called her an angel. He could tell it was so busy, but she was kind and gave him all the time he needed.
