I'm a stage 4 cancer patient with bone METS. Laura made sure that I was never in discomfort, despite the sudden attention of the opioid epidemic. Laura was cognizant of my medication due times and was always there in my room to make sure that the medication was working after its administration. So much these days is about the unnecessary use of pain medication and patient coming to hospitals to secure pills when they really had no issue other than addiction. Differentiating between real patients and understanding the debilitating discomfort and experiences we deal with on a daily basis is a huge deal. Laura showed her compassion by understanding that I'm a real patient. Cancer is not a fun disease to have, but I know that Laura understands my pain. She's done a wonderful job taking care of me!
