We lost our child, E, at 33 weeks. Lauren, our nurse, was empathetic and personable. She stayed with us, comforted us, and made sure that we had everything we needed. She was present during our crying session and stayed with us during our discomfort. She joined our family conversations and allowed everyone to get to know her. She was such a wonderful nurse, and woman. We greatly appreciate every moment she took care of us. We also want to give a thank you to the Family Birth Center for allowing our entire family, parents, and grandparents of E, to gather together and grieve the tragic loss of our special person. We truly appreciate the kindness that was given to our family and the privacy granted to us while we waited for E to be born.
