Lauren is an exceptional nurse in O.R. Lauren is always open to helping out everyone whether it be in surgery, pre-op getting patients ready, post-op and making sure patients are transferred correctly and gets them warm blankets and a great report. She does go out of the way to care for all co-workers/patients/doctors. She always has a smile even with things are not going well with the case. When Lauren is not doing a case she helps others get their room ready, communicating with staff and does everything to make the day go smooth for everyone. She is very aware and strong in patient safety, care, HIPPA, patient privacy, making sure (everything for the case is in order) including and not limited to helping all scrub techs and reps to positioning and padding patients to ensure patients skin is cared for, opening up for cases. These things add up to a large sum of teamwork.

I am honored to work with her everyday. She stays late at the drop of a hat to help care for patient and team. Lauren's skills are impeccable and I am very proud of her as she is a young nurse and runs circles around some of us others. The patient's family are well cared for and informed by her. Lauren is a wonderful mentor as a preceptor for a lot of staff here in the department.
