Laurie joined our team at Children's National in the middle of a large revenue cycle project. From the day she started she has focused on the vision of Cerner's clinically driven revenue cycle. She has reached out to the clinical team and built relationships, in this short time, faster and better than anyone else on the team has been able. She has a constant drive to look out for the patients and to help the clinical team take care of them and document less. Laurie has worked hard with the team; holding several meetings, learning solutions and how they plan to intertwine with our revenue cycle, as well as the clinically driven revenue cycle. On several occasions Laurie has been asked to track down a clinical leader, or get an answer on an unknown workflow. She has used every tool in her tool belt to find out who those people are and get that answer quickly. Laurie is our guiding light of clinical impact for our team. She is involved in almost every solution meeting talking clinical impact and patient impact. Laurie even created a clinical impact governance structure to help the hospital, as a whole. Since Laurie has joined our team I have not once had to question her passion, drive, expertise, and absolute no-quit attitude when it comes to our client, our mission, the clinicians, or the nursing team.
