I was made to feel very special and that it was her pleasure, not a duty, to care for me.
I was moved from the ER to a room. Nurse Laury was my nurse for two days during the morning and the evening hours until 7 pm. The care that she provided was impeccable! Upon arrival, I was greeted professionally and warmly. I was made to feel very special and that it was her pleasure, not a duty, to care for me. Laury's kindness did not stop with me; she was also very kind and considerate to my wife, thus ending some of the anxiety about my undiagnosed condition.
Laury kept us informed about everything that was going to take place, making sure that we knew exactly what to expect in terms of my care. She even made sure to make us aware when she was off the floor for lunch, assuring us that we were in good hands. Also, as her shift was about to come to an end, she made sure to inform me about the nurse that would be relieving her and giving that person high praises. BRH should feel very fortunate to have Laury as part of your nursing staff. I know that I felt very fortunate to have her as part of my care team.
Thank you, Nurse Laury, for going above and beyond the call of duty.
