While my mother was a patient, Leah demonstrated everything that a nurse should be. She is extremely knowledgeable and was very willing to explain the procedures and the process that needed to take place to get my mother into better health. She was very open to my concerns and never made me feel like I was overstepping my boundaries when I brought up a concern. In addition, Leah was very compassionate and comforting to my mother and the entire family. My four-year-old granddaughter, L, came to visit with us. We mentioned that she wanted to be a doctor when she grows up! This is where Leah really went above and beyond! She let L listen with a stethoscope to my mother's heartbeat! She was thrilled! Leah even gave her some exam gloves to wear, and we all were calling her Dr L! I thanked Leah for encouraging L's interest in the medical field and Leah responded that there is always a need for good doctors and nurses. Leah was very busy that day, but she took the time to make L feel like a real medical professional.
