As a clinical instructor, we flood the units with seven to eight eager students at a time. On our first day of clinicals, no one, including myself, had across to Soarian or Pyxis. Lee stopped what she was doing, contacted IT, and together they managed to get everyone access. This was the beginning of many acts of kindness from Lee. My clinical group is 4th-semester students but they haven't had many opportunities to see any cardiac services. Lee heard me mention that I would love for the students to see a Cath or a CABG. Lee was on the phone arranging this before I had a chance to ask. Each Thursday that we are here, Lee's smile and caring shines through. She makes us all feel welcomed and appreciated, and for students that means a lot!
