Mother could not have had better care. She would not eat so he said to her he would have a lunch date and came in and tried to get her to eat. He treated her as he would his own grandmother. Never met a nurse more caring. Mother was 93, she passed away, but we will always be grateful for his care of our mom.

When I arrived at mercy after a 15 minute plus seizure my speech was stuttered and I couldn't say what I wanted to say. Instead of trying to talk in the ER I wrote notes. Once on the floor, Dr. R said, "no more writing, talk this out. The more you talk the faster it goes away." Lee was in the room when Dr. R said all of this. After Dr. R left Lee said we need to talk. Lee talked to me for about 2 hours in a row. After those 2 hours, my speech was 75% better. Now I'm at 99% better. Lee went above and beyond his duty and showed caring, compassion, empathy and that he works for more than just a paycheck! Thank you for your compassion, Lee, you are a true DAISY Nurse.
