My 94-year-old mother was admitted to the ER disoriented, vomiting and very distressed. Leo showed her compassion, kindness, and dignity. Her blood pressure rose to 220/189 and I was extremely concerned that she might have a stroke. I notified Leo and he immediately reached out to the doctor and was able to get her medicine that lowered her blood pressure. He checked on her and her pressure to make sure she was doing well. He was very gentle when having to find a vein for her IV fluids and antibiotics, because of the UTI she contracted. Her veins are extremely small and most people end up hurting her when trying to find a good vein; however, his gentleness and expertise was most appreciated since he was able to assist her without pain and discomfort. He continued to show patience, understanding, and kindness along with excellent care. As the family member and main caregiver, I truly appreciated all his efforts and the communication he provided in keeping me up to speed on her medical care.
