Leslie has been working at the PFH CHF clinic for six years. She has built a wonderful rapport with her patients. One patient in particular has especially benefitted from her care. Leslie has gone above and beyond to help him meet his needs. Leslie has worked diligently to ensure that the patient can make his appointment. She has arranged transportation to and from the clinic on several occasions, and even organized transportation for his other doctor’s appointments.

On another occasion, Leslie collaborated with the nursing staff in CV Imaging to set up A TEE procedure appointment that required a specific cardiologist to perform. Due to anesthesia requirements, transportation, and the need for that particular cardiologist for the procedure, scheduling was complicated. Leslie worked closely with the required teams to ensure that the patient’s needs were met. The Piedmont values that she exhibits are making a positive difference in someone’s life, team collaboration, serving the community, championing patient-centered care, and being an owner.
