Leslie has proven herself as a nurse who is passionate about doing what is best for all patients. She is skilled in building rapport with patients and meeting them where they are at, which inevitably helps them feel safe and at ease. This is not only helpful and therapeutic for the patient, but it creates a safe milieu for the other patients and staff. She consistently seeks out ways to improve, attends all classes offered and volunteers to be a champion in the de-escalation practices and other patient care areas. She is a Leader and a respected Charge RN with the ability to establish and facilitate the collaboration of the multi-disciplinary team. She is approachable, kind and has a wonderful sense of humor. She is an early adopter of our culture and works well with others to understand the benefits of caring for our patients within this treatment model. She emulates what we should strive for in all of our nursing staff here at Unity and within our profession.
