My sister has been in the hospital for at least 30 days. Lesly Huaratazo-Munoz has treated my sister with such care and kindness. She has, in my opinion, helped save her life. When my sister has been consumed with pain, she has held her hand. When my sister cried, she wiped her tears while holding back her own tears. When my sister’s vitals crashed, she expertly and efficiently administered care and stabilized her.

Lesly has such compassion, not only does she provide our sister with the highest level of care she always asks her family how we are doing. If Lesly did not have my sister as a patient on a particular day she always checked on her, it brings a smile to her eyes. Medicine is amazing and has been key to my sister’s road to recovery. However, I believe that it is the kindness of others and being treated with respect that often times makes all the difference with how patients respond to the medical care.

Lesly is not just a daisy. She is a field of daisies!
