The first time I met Linda, it was like I knew her all my life. She's caring, gentle and gives comfort when you need it. She takes time with you and listens to you. Linda has a barn on her property and she has all rescue animals. She showed me pictures of these animals and I fell in love with a baby lamb named Dorothy. Every time I would see Linda, I would ask about Dorothy. Tomorrow I am having major surgery. I wanted to update my will and leave money for hay for Dorothy and all the other rescue animals. I told Linda what I was doing and asked her if I could have a picture of Dorothy. To my surprise, this caring, gentle nurse came to my room with two large frames, one with 8 pictures of Dorothy, the other with pictures of her ducks, goose, pig, horses, and goats. She said she wished she could bring Dorothy to my room.
Linda found out from the hospital that Dorothy couldn't come in the hospital because she was a farm animal, but I could go outside the hospital to see her. Linda had the Wednesday off before my surgery on Friday. She brought Dorothy to me. I got to bottle feed her and hold her. Linda drove all the way from Cedarburg to do this for me. I spent one and a half hours with her. Linda had Dorothy all dressed up in a multi-colored tutu. I received a stuffed lamb from them. All this was done by a nurse I haven't known even 6 months. But, this nurse, Linda Buyeske, wanted to make me happy before my surgery. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
