I have been a patient at your clinic for many years. My team does a great job working me into their very busy schedules when needed and are always available when I am having complications from my medical issues. The one person I would really like to commend and praise is Nurse Linda from the Anticoagulation Clinic.
Last year, I was diagnosed with Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy and spent over a week in the hospital. When I was released, Linda worked me into her busy schedule to get my INR back to normal. She was very kind and compassionate throughout the whole process. Two weeks ago, I had a lupus flare which raised my INR and caused kidney damage. I was hospitalized for a week and once again Linda has come to the rescue. Since my release from the hospital, I have seen Linda several times to check and maintain my INR. She welcomes me with open arms during each visit, checks on my overall well-being takes the time to print out and reminds me or future appointments so I don't forget anything. She has gone above and beyond her job duties and I would like to commend her for taking such good care of me. I have had to check my INR many times and complete lab work for one of my doctors. She has walked me over to the lab several times to see if they could do lab work while I was already there instead of me having to leave work to return the next day. I cannot thank her or praise her enough for all she has done for me.
I am a Kindergarten teacher and told my students about how Nurse Linda has taken such good care of me. Our writing assignment today was to write a letter or a Thank You card to someone who they appreciate and they chose to make cards for Nurse Linda. They wrote her things like: "Thank you for taking care of my teacher." "I like you." "I love you." "Thank you for protecting my teacher." A few of my students said they want to be a good nurse like Mrs. Linda. By helping their teacher, she has taught them to be caring and lifelong learners and I truly appreciate everything she is doing to encourage me during this very difficult time.
