Linda Holmes was nominated for the DAISY Award by several of her patients’ family members. Here are some excerpts from her nomination:
“Our dad had an elective procedure done and had some complications that required a lot of care, attention, and compassion. Linda came in and prayed with us; even though my dad was not her patient. She is a wonderful nurse who really cares about her patients and their families. She answers questions; no matter how many.”
“Linda took care of my husband while he was in the MSICU. She is a wonderful nurse who treats her patients like her own family. She treats the patient’s family like one of her own too. She sat with me and my family and prayed with us. Thank you Linda for being there for me, my family, and most importantly my husband.”
