Lindsay spent several shifts taking care of my son following his surgery. She spent an incredible amount of time getting to know him in order to provide the best care for him. She not only provided nursing care, she also got to know him as a person and would talk to him about his favorite things, hobbies, and interests. She found time to sing with him and got him to smile and laugh. She learned the dynamics of our family and took time to educate the various family members and help us arrange for care conferences. It is clear that pediatric care is not just a career but a passion for her. As an ICU nurse myself and the parent of a child in the ICU, I truly understand the significance of what Lindsay did.

Lindsay joined Johns Hopkins All Children's a year and a half ago in one of our ICU RN fellowship cohorts. From that day, we have watched her grow into a well-respected intensive care nurse. She is often recognized by her colleagues, patients, and families for her kind, compassionate spirit. Her service excellence shines through during every shift, even in some of the most challenging circumstances. We are so thankful to have her as part of our team.
