My father was diagnosed with a tumor on his kidney 5 months before we were finally admitted to have it removed. Local doctors refused surgery and referred us to OU, which is a 2-hour drive for our family. Our care at this facility was beyond our expectations, and our nurse, Lindsey, was the absolute best. At no point did we feel like she was rushed or too busy to answer our questions, and we had a lot of them. Lindsey is the absolute embodiment of what nursing should be. She is kind, funny, and compassionate. I hope she knows how much families need that calm spirit and care.
