Lindy is an exceptional nurse. She is constantly being recognized by her patients and their families for the wonderful care that she provides. Lindy has recently taken on a number of new roles—serving as a preceptor, Peer Review council member, and CNA Champion. Lindy is calm and compassionate by nature. She is patient-driven and an outstanding team player. Lindy lives our values every day. We are so lucky to have her on 7H.

My mother was admitted to 7H as a hospice patient. She was very nervous, scared and anxious. Lindy took the time to explain everything in detail and help my mother with the dying process. She cared for my mother for 3 days and those 3 days, I knew I didn't have to worry. As a nurse in this hospital, we can only hope the nurses meet our expectation and go above and beyond. Lindy is very patient driven. She made my mom feel so important and loved when she was her nurse. Unity Point is very lucky to have a nurse like Lindy.
