The granddaughter of a patient on Med/Surg said she would like to recognize Linsy for treating her "Grammy" as if she were family. Naturally she accomplishes her medical duties with ease, though her ability to make my grandmother feel special and important have amazed me. We live out of state and are not able to be there to care for my grandmother, but Linsy has offered to do the things we would be doing for her if we were there. She offered to run errands for her to get the things she needed to feel more comfortable during these difficult times, such as lotions, notebooks, etc. The things that would make her feel at home. It comforts me to know that Linsy can be there for my Grammy when I cannot. She has stepped in as family and made my grandmother's stay at this hospital more comfortable - for that I am forever grateful.
