I personally had outpatient surgery recently and Lisa was my nurse. She met me and my husband at the door with a smile and very calm demeanor. I have had the pleasure of working with Lisa (as an RN) for years but this was my first experience being under her care. As a nurse, I know it can be challenging taking care of a coworker, but Lisa treated me and my husband with professionalism, kindness and true gladness to take care of us. I’m not the best patient she’s had but she was always kind, calm and smiling while providing care for me. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for helping me get through that day. Lisa deserves a round of applause for a job very well done. I know anyone who comes to AMC and has Lisa Alfredson as their nurse is in GREAT hands. Thanks Lisa!
