Last night I had a stint in the emergency room. It was the middle of the night (of course) and I was feeling lousy. The care and compassion my nurse Lisa showed me were exemplary. I had never had an IV before and that mixed with a strong fear of needles made me extremely nervous. She was so kind and patient with me. She explained each step along the way which helped ease my anxiety. My husband and I ended up being there until 5 a.m. and she was so extremely kind the entire time.
