Congratulations to Lisa Armstrong RN, Med/Surg, who was recognized as Viera Hospital's First DAISY Award recipient. Lisa receives many patient compliments on her wonderful nursing care on the patient satisfaction surveys and also during the discharge phone calls. She received several nominations for the DAISY Award from patients and their families. One of Lisa's former patients and his wife actually attended the DAISY Award recognition ceremony on the VH Med/Surg unit. Lisa is truly a "people person" who makes a personal connection with each of her patients. Viera Hospital is proud to recognize Lisa Armstrong with the DAISY Award for her outstanding nursing care.
