Lisa takes great pride in her work. She is immensely knowledgeable in her area of expertise, is attentive, and eloquent.
Our organization recently transitioned to a new learning management system for education. With all of the curve balls that 2020 has thrown our way, the nursing education team has struggled with adapting to the new system. November 9th marked the beginning of a new nursing orientation week. Unfortunately, the entire nursing education team was quarantined due to COVID-19 exposure, except for one as she was on vacation during the exposure. Before Lisa returned to work from her vacation, she was tasked with taking on nursing orientation; a process in itself that has altered several times over the past few years. Lisa took on this task with grace with little to no help from her peers due to the circumstances. She worked extended hours during this week of nursing orientation to ensure the new nurses and nursing assistants had a seamless onboarding experience. Lisa ensured she dotted her I's and crossed her T's; nothing out of the ordinary for her work. Lisa takes great pride in her work. She is immensely knowledgeable in her area of expertise, is attentive, and eloquent. There is never hesitation when a member of the team needs help delivering education, despite the majority of the team being unable to assist her in her specialty. Lisa is an asset and invaluable member of the nursing education department and organization.
