My dad had to have a stent placed and then come back the next week to have more stent work done. Lisa got my dad settled in his room and made him feel very at ease and comfortable. She explained everything very thoroughly to us and drew pictures to explain what was just done to my dad and what would be done the following week. She explained everything that was done on each visit to the room and kept up a wonderful conversation with my dad to help him relax. The next week she was on staff but not assigned to my dad. She took the time to stop by his room to see how he was doing after the second trip to the cath lab. They had a great relationship that allowed them to joke back and forth and make the stays go by quickly and keep his spirits up. She made my mom feel at ease and helped her understand the stints and how they would work and how the home care should be done.
