Lisa took care of my husband when he was admitted from a post op complication. He was very sick and in a lot of pain. Lisa has a great sense of humor and often made my husband laugh, even though he was sick. He had to have a procedure done that took longer than normal and was due for his pain medication. Lisa brought his medication over to the infusion unit to give him so that he could be comfortable. Due to the procedure, my husband also missed his lunch and she had a meal brought up for him when he returned. The hospital was at max capacity and every nurse was busy, but she never showed any less attention to my husband’s needs and treated him as if he were her only patient. My husband also had a very difficult roommate and Lisa was able to work with grace and humor to help both that patient and my husband at the same time. Lisa’s attitude is one that shows she enjoys being a nurse and even has fun while she works.
