Lisa is an extraordinary nurse and human being. She is one of the best nurses I have come across in my years in this profession. She is the best possible advocate for her patients, and at the same time a pleasure to work with. Regardless of the situation, Lisa is always the first one available to help. Lisa's exceptional skills in dealing with patients with difficult challenges, makes her an invaluable asset in patient care. Nursing is oftentimes very underappreciated and requires a lot of patience. Despite any hardships, Lisa always takes care of her patients with a smile on her face. There have been several instances where because of her vigilance and smartness, medically inappropriate care has been averted.
A lot of the patients we take care of here can't verbalize their gratitude, but I am sure if they could, they would all be deeply appreciative of her service. In my opinion, Lisa is the embodiment of the spirit of The DAISY Award. I would personally like to thank her for her service and would count myself extremely fortunate to have her as my nurse if I were to need one.
