Liz assisted in the care of a 91-year old patient. The patient had a bowel obstruction and vomited on her clothing from home. She was admitted to the hospital and was stressed that she did not have a washing machine here to wash her clothing in time to keep it from staining. Liz offered to take the clothing home and wash it and the patient was extremely grateful for this offer. Liz took the patient's clothing home, bought special laundry detergent and stain removal products and washed the patient's clothing. She returned the clothing the next night to the patient's inpatient room. The patient and family were very thankful for this gesture. This is just one small example of the exemplary care that Liz provides to her patients every time that she works. She goes above and beyond every shift to make sure her patients feel safe and cared for. Liz is a pleasure to work alongside and a great nurse and human in general.
