Lori did not stop until my pain dropped a number on the scale. She made calls, she was an advocate for me.
Lori is a very kind sweet and adorable human and nurse. So this is going to be personal but I have to share it for you to understand. I am on a controversial medication, more accepted now than once was, but has a stigma. I’ve worked so hard to clear my reputation and be better and run a business as a hairstylist. When I found out I was having a baby…the shock! So the day of my c-section. I’m scared to death, teeth chattering. It was the opposite of what people said about having a baby! So this has been the most painful experience of my life. Lori did not stop until my pain dropped a number on the scale. She made calls, she was an advocate for me. She checked on me 2-3 times per hour. She is always smiling and says something positive. When it’s close to shift change I get a lump in my throat because I don’t know what type of nurses are coming in next. I was so scared and afraid of being judged and that would make the nurses keep my pain meds from me because that is what one person said to me. Lori would never let that happen. She’s honest and fair and does her job above and beyond.
