Lynn is an expert NICU nurse who provides exceptional patient and family centered care in a thoughtful manner. In addition to her clinical expertise, she is also skilled as a resource nurse and preceptor. Her manner is calm, thorough and highly competent. She does her job brilliantly while remaining completely under the radar, considering her work to be its own reward.
Lynn is committed to continued learning and professional growth. She joined the breastfeeding resource team at its inception and assumed an informal leadership role. Last year, Lynn also obtained her Neonatal Intensive Care certification.
The NICU experience is often a long emotional roller coaster ride for families with all manner of different coping skills and styles, yet they all appreciate and respect Lynn for her attention to detail and calm presence. Lynn creates that professional nurse/patient relationship that allows her to provide high quality care in a supportive learning environment for each family.
Here are some comments that families have shared about Lynn's expert care:
"Lynn was incredible and amazing. She was so wonderful and would even check in on us when she wasn't our nurse." "Lynn was so fabulous and good to us. Our family had a wonderful stay in the NICU." "Lynn is an outstanding nurse. She took excellent care of our son." "Lynn was one of several nurses who took care of our daughter, being sure to cuddle her whenever we weren't there. She was supportive and helped teach me how to care for our daughter independently." "The NICU was a very stressful place, but great nurses like Lynn, who were so helpful and kind, made it a much better place."
The NICU team is made stronger with the contributions of Lynn Clark, a strong patient and family advocate, an expert clinician and generally fabulous nurse. We are fortunate to have her on our NICU team!
