Lynnae Eader is one of the extraordinary nurses you will find working in the busy halls of the Emergency Department a few times each week. Lynnae has, for years now, dedicated her time and energy tirelessly to serve the people of our community through their darkest hours, often being assigned to manage unthinkable traumas while resourcing for other, newer nurses who are just learning how to manage sick children or other challenging scenarios. The emergency department is a hard place to work, and the burnout rate is high, however Lynnae consistently shows up with nothing but the best advocacy for patient and staff safety time and time again. Any patient that is in her care can rest assured that she will always advocate for their care and safety every single time without fail.

As a coworker, we all know Lynnae strives to do what is most right every single time, even if, like nursing school test questions, there is always a “most right” answer. She has been a valued member of this department for nearly 2 decades and has been this person constantly the whole time without fail.

People like Lynnae are the pinnacle of what nursing means, and her care and compassion extend to her family, friends, and community in addition to her days spent in the ER.
