I had a complete hysterectomy at Oneida Health. I was well informed, but still anxious concerning the post-op and recovery. Lynsey was very professional, caring, and courteous. She answered all of my numerous questions, even the ones I thought may have seemed silly to her. I felt as if I were the only patient she attended to as she gave me her attention, knowledge, and understanding.

She even went so far as to relay her difficulties with her own pregnancy. She understood my pain, both physical and emotional. This was a tremendous help with my overnight stay after the surgery. I felt so bad for her because I was unable to sleep and needed her to come and assist me when using the bathroom many numerous times throughout the night. She never once complained and even reminded me she wanted me to be as comfortable as possible.

She explained that she enjoyed helping her patients and I had no doubt of that. Before her shift was over, she made it a point to check on me again and say her goodbyes. I felt as if I had made a new friend. My worries had subsided because of the care Lynsey had given me throughout her 12-hour shift. I will never be able to thank her enough, and will definitely always refer anyone I know to go to Oneida Health, not only for GYN problems but for anything requiring a hospital setting.
