After a horrible first night on 4th rehab, Macy was an angel who was so caring and compassionate and took the time to listen to my concerns and make sure things were done correctly. She would make sure my meds were on time. She set the timer on her watch to give my meds, and if she could not get it to me, another kind of nurse would do it for her. She was a great nurse advocate for me and passed it on to other nurses who were taking over. She told them how she did things that were working. She recognized my pain as legitimate and did not make me feel like I was making pain more than it was. The numerous shifts that she took care of me, she continued with our plan. I never had to worry that something was not going to be taken care of. She is a true nurse with a heart of gold!
