Mae did her homework by discussing in reviewing my medical history. She worked with my doctors and other staff to assure I was recovering as expected. She answered my questions about what was occurring during my recovery process. She was wonderful and allowed me to sleep when I was resting, yet kept an eye on me to be sure I was OK. She treated me like a friend and we had pleasant chats on light topics, such as life in the Hudson Valley. She is amazing at time management. When she was busy with another patient, she cheerfully would say she will be with me in so many minutes- and she would arrive as she had estimated. Mae was with me for about three nights and cheerfully greeted me at the start and end of her 12-hour shift. She is consistently beyond all of my expectations - and I have spent many nights in three hospitals for the last three years, so I know what an exceptional nurse is like. Thank you, Mae!
