The moment I met Magdalena, I knew my mother was in the Best hands possible. At our first rehab meeting, Magdalena greeted us with such an amazing smile. She sat with us for our first official rehab meeting over 2 hours explaining everything to us in detail. It was also comforting to my mother and me that Magdalena spoke Spanish. She went through all the paperwork and quizzes with my mother and not once did she make my mother feel uncomfortable especially if she got an incorrect answer. She reassured me that my mother would be in the best hands during her rehab at Masonic.

After my mother's rehab sessions, she comes home with such a positive attitude because not only does the rehab team believe in her abilities, but now she also believes in herself. Things happen for a reason; my mother needing cardiac surgery put us in Magdalena's path. Magdalena has truly blessed my mother. She always has such a positive, cheerful, and caring attitude. My family believes she is one extraordinary nurse! She brought out a new and improved mom!
