Maggie is such a thoughtful nurse and takes such great care of her patients. While she was taking care of patients in pre-op because we ran out of labor and antepartum rooms, one of our patients was getting discharged but was homeless. She spent time (while still taking care of her other patients) looking up homeless shelters for her to go to and got her a safe spot to go to after discharge. Maggie went above and beyond for this patient and deserves the DAISY Award for this selfless and caring act.
