Mahlen demonstrated excellent nursing skills. She is very helpful and showed genuine concerns for our baby and sincerely cared about us. She is loving and caring and with great attitude. She went beyond her duty to make us feel comfortable and confident. She is very accommodating and explained things in a way that is easy to understand. She took her time to make sure we are updated about our son's condition. The professional ability shown in changing out child's feeding tube, nasal cannula, diaper, and other things was well awesome and well appreciated. She also made us listen to our child's heartbeat. That was so amazing! She is a great source of support and is willing to assist us in every little way. We want to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation in making us feel welcomed in the NICU and making us feel safe and confident on the services and care of our child.

Mahlen is a very good nurse, she is one of your TOP Nurses here at Kaiser. I thank God for Mahlen, she loves her job and treats everyone with respect and most of all she cares about the children, I feel everyone should learn from her. She knows how to really take care of kids. But more than everything, she prepares us for when we take our baby home. She is awesome. She is great! She has great communication with parents. Mahlen is a wonderful nurse! Very caring and patient. My son was born early and had to go to NICU. Mahlen took good care of him and helped me cope with him being there. I learned I could trust her with my son.
