Mallory is always smiling in clinical and class, even on days when content is very hard. She has a wonderful, caring personality and demonstrates her care to her patients during clinical sessions. On one occasion, a patient was having difficulty understanding us when we explained medications and treatments. She took time with the patient and made sure the patient understood what was being said. By the end of the shift, they were joking with each other and laughing. The patient expressed gratefulness when asked about how she cared for them.

She is also the first student to volunteer to help anyone, including staff, on the floor. Her enthusiasm and willingness to help have not gone unnoticed.
