Margie Becker is the RN who cared for my Granddaddy during the final days of his life. She was exceptional in performing her duties. Beyond ensuring that Granddaddy had the highest standard of treatment, she constantly checked on the rest of the family as well to make certain we, too, were well take care of.
Granddaddy never uttered a word of complaint and never had to call Margie, as she anticipated his needs and everything was always exactly as he wanted it. She was always at the right place at the right time.
Her joyful outlook, caring nature, unending patience, and compassionate personality make her an exceptional nurse. She took the time to listen to the family, answer questions, and empathize with us.
When it became apparent that Granddaddy would probably not make it through the night, Margie made a special effort at the end of her shift to see our family before leaving. She let us know how Granddaddy had made an impact on her life in just the short time she had known him and then gave us hugs, conveyed her sorrow, and said we would be in her prayers.
Margie is the BEST Nurse!
