When the doors of the Advanced Wound Healing/Hyperbaric Medicine Center opened in October 2008, Marguerite Fusco was there ready to share her compassionate care with her patients. She has been able to touch the lives of over 5000 patients in the last 10 years and has been instrumental in obtaining and keeping our patient satisfaction scores well above 90%. She sets high expectations for herself and her team and always finds the time to provide her healing touch.
As the clinical coordinator, she has also been influential in achieving the "wound care center of excellence" status for 7 years in a row, due to her gift of providing compassionate care to her patients and led her team of nurses. The Advanced Wound Healing/Hyperbaric Medicine Center would not have been the phenomenal success it's been without her kindhearted attention and leadership abilities. Marguerite is truly a nurse who delivers on her promise to provide exceptional care, to extraordinary people, every time and is a true DAISY Nurse.
