My husband was at the hospital after heart surgery and was too shy and timid to request any help from the nurses when he was first brought to floor. So when I first came to visit I had several requests to make to the nurse of the day who was on break - Maria just happened to walk by and she said, may I help you, and she had the friendliest smile and loving tone in her voice. I was still so impatient and blurted out a series of needs and questions about my husband's care while there for the past 3 hours. Maria did not show any anger or regret for passing by and was very professional in handling my unpleasant behavior. I thought that she was an angel who was dropped by God to appease my husband and me while in a very traumatic situation. Thank you Maria for being so kind and generous with your smile.
