My wife came home from having a bilateral mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. We were blessed to have Maria as my wife's nurse for 2 of the 3 days she was in the hospital. Maria showed my wife compassion and tried keeping my wife's spirits up when she was struggling with pain and self-image after the surgery. I can't remember how many times Maria told her that her results looked great. Maria kept me updated on everything going on and trained me on how to care for my wife while in the hospital and when I got home. We never had to wait after requesting anything. She did everything in such a pleasant and efficient manner, she had to be exhausted but always stayed upbeat and pleasant. Maria showed true compassion and empathy. I could leave knowing and trusting that my wife was in good hands. If any of my family needs to be in the hospital in the future, I hope we are lucky enough to have this extraordinary nurse caring for us.
